The family were considering options to either move or extend their current home to better suit the needs of their family. The permission granted ensures the family has the opportunity to remain in the village they love, or to potentially sell for a higher amount.

Langar cum Barnstone Community Hall Opens for Public Use

The new community hub replaces the original hall on the same site. The new hall provides modern, safe, and accessible facilities ensuring that a new generation of users will benefit from local infrastructure.

Grant Permission Achieved for New Home in Keyworth, Nottingham

We are delighted to announce Grant Permission has been achieved for a New Dwelling Home in the popular village of Keyworth.

Prior to Welham Architects involvement in the project, an earlier scheme for the site had been knocked back at Planning. Welham Architects where recommended by a previous client, and we worked in partnership with the site owners to achieve their ambitions for the development.

Eddie delivers Short Course in Interior Design at Nottingham Trent University

Edward has been working in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) to share his passion and knowledge for Interior Design by delivering a short course in Interior Design. 

Aimed at beginners who have a passion for residential and commercial interiors, Eddie goes through the process of creating an interior from project inception, concept design, to realisation and portfolio creation.

Huge £10 million expansion planned for Gedling school - Carlton le Willows Academy Expansion

Plans to bring more classrooms to accommodate around 350 extra students at a school in Nottinghamshire have been submitted by Welham Architects and now validated.
The multi-million-pound proposal laid out for Carlton Le Willows Academy aim to enhance the provision for current students while also meeting the need for more school places in the Gedling community.

Topping Out Ceremony at Rebbur House with Bellco Developments

Welham Architects are pleased to have been invited back to the Bellco 'Rebbur House' development in Keyworth to celebrate alongside the project team at the Topping Out Ceremony. 

It is customary within the construction industry on completion of a development site to have ‘Topping Out ceremony’ this signifies the last roof tile has been laid and the build is complete.

Practical Completion for the Methodist Church at Radcliffe on Trent

Welham Architects are pleased to see the renewal project of the Methodist Church in Radcliffe on Trent coming to a successful conclusion.

The contractor Bloodworth is nearing the end of the building works, and invited the client team and Welham Architects for a Practical Completion meeting. The Church is looking outstanding, and new life has been breathed into the heritage building.

Notts school could get new learning centre to help children with autism and anxiety

A school in Gedling could get a brand new learning centre specifically designed to better support children with anxiety and autism.
The facility would be built on-site at Carlton le Willows academy in Gedling, and would provide children with specialist teachers and a tailored curriculum.
