Huge £10 million expansion planned for Gedling school - Carlton le Willows Academy Expansion

Plans to bring more classrooms to accommodate around 350 extra students at a school in Nottinghamshire have been submitted by Welham Architects and now validated.
The multi-million-pound proposal laid out for Carlton Le Willows Academy aim to enhance the provision for current students while also meeting the need for more school places in the Gedling community.

Topping Out Ceremony at Rebbur House with Bellco Developments

Welham Architects are pleased to have been invited back to the Bellco 'Rebbur House' development in Keyworth to celebrate alongside the project team at the Topping Out Ceremony. 

It is customary within the construction industry on completion of a development site to have ‘Topping Out ceremony’ this signifies the last roof tile has been laid and the build is complete.

Practical Completion for the Methodist Church at Radcliffe on Trent

Welham Architects are pleased to see the renewal project of the Methodist Church in Radcliffe on Trent coming to a successful conclusion.

The contractor Bloodworth is nearing the end of the building works, and invited the client team and Welham Architects for a Practical Completion meeting. The Church is looking outstanding, and new life has been breathed into the heritage building.

Spotlight has been created following a major reconfiguration of the arena’s level 4 hospitality facilities which also includes a relaxed bar and lounge area and a new state-of-the-art kitchen.


Notts school could get new learning centre to help children with autism and anxiety

A school in Gedling could get a brand new learning centre specifically designed to better support children with anxiety and autism.
The facility would be built on-site at Carlton le Willows academy in Gedling, and would provide children with specialist teachers and a tailored curriculum.
